Trade Deadline looms

The Trade deadline is looming so here are some moves that have made news on the wire this weekend and today.

New York Mets have acquired Jay Bruce from the Cincinnati Reds for 23 year old outfielder Brandon Nimmo, this is a move that shows that the Mets are desperate to make the playoffs again after their world series appearance. Do you think this move is going to help the mets make the playoff or will they miss the playoffs this season.

Texas Rangers have Acquired Carlos Beltran from the New York Yankees for Pitching Prospect Dillion Tate and others according to multiple sources which was confirmed by ESPN. This trade deadline has proved that the Yankees are losing hope on making the playoffs this season and selling off pieces of their team that would have helped them like Andrew Miller to the Cleveland Indians and Chapman to the Chicago Cubs.

Matt Kemp has been traded to Atlanta Braves over the weekend for Hector Olivera a player that is currently under suspension MLB's domestic violence rules for allegedly beating a woman.. Why in the world The San Diego Padres stoop that low to get rid of Matt Kemp.

Washington Nationals acquired Mark Melancon from the pittsburgh pirates,  Pirates got reliever Felipe Rivero who currently has a 4.53 ERA, plus minor league lefty Taylor Hearn.

So let's see what moves are still going to happen during the trade deadline.
